My career started in visual merchandising for retail spaces. I have a natural aesthetic eye and love working with my hands and was able to bring that to life during my time at Saje Natural Wellness as a Visual Merchandising specialist. I helped people discover products that made their life better through strategic, visually stunning designs.
As I discovered the UX world, I realized it was a perfect mash-up of what I was good at, and what I loved doing – helping people while being creative.
Designing the front-facing experience for a business was what I did in the real world. Taking it to the digital world seemed like the natural next step.
I gained skills through a Brain Station Certificate program that I put to work for Good Vibes Only Coffee and Spice Girl Eats.
